Our History...
Don and Maria Bilger of Gorham, NH were owners of Whitney’s Inn and the Shovel Handle Pub in Jackson, NH for 16 years until they sold the business in May of 2024. They also owned three short term rental properties beginning in 2018 in Florida, Central NY, and NH. Realizing that the they enjoyed the short term rental business more than owning a hotel, they expanded that business to include three properties in the Poconos and one property in Montana. When locating properties, they concentrated on popular locations that would not only be attractive to potential guests but would be areas they would want to visit themselves. Now with seven short term rentals and more expected in the future, the Bilgers have incorporated Evolve to assist with the booking process but they remain thoroughly involved in the day to day management and care of all of their properties.
Our Goal...
is to offer accommodations that can fit the travel needs for couples, families, and groups with amenities that exceed our customer’s expectations. We also intend to offer a frequent renter program to our guests for those looking to visit our multiple properties…details to follow.
